Applications

Sorbitan Monopalmitate MONEMUL® - 40 are yellow color solid waxy flakes with 140 – 150 solubility, 7.5 mgKOH/g acid value and C22H42O6 molecular formula. This non-ionic, lipophillic  surfactant is used for preparing water in oil emulsifiers;Opacifiers in pharmaceutical and cosmetics lotions and creams; and emulsifier in leather auxiliary for creating finishing formulations. In Oil-in-Water emulsifier, the HLB is balanced with MONEBATâ„¢ – 40. For achieving the stability of emulsions, it works as co-emulsifiers. It acts as a base raw material for the production of High HLB product MONEBATâ„¢ – 40 (POLYSORBATE – 40, Polyoxyethylene (20) Sorbitan Mono Palmitate). With MONEMUL® - 40,  Polysorbate - 40 works as co-emulsifier.
